Breeder of German Shepherds

Meet the breeder

I'm Daniel W., the breeder behind Walker Family Shepherds LLC located in Morganton, NC. We offer both WGSL and Non Standard Color German Shepherds. We strive to produce healthy, intelligent puppies that are able to integrate comfortably into a variety of age groups, households, and lifestyles.

Q. & A. with Daniel

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding GSD’s due to Shepherd I purchased for my wife many years ago. It started as just a way to keep that bloodline going because we felt we had the best dog ever. We have now had 3 generations of that bloodline and my love for breeding grew
  • What makes your program special?

I don’t feel I’m any more or less special than other breeders. I just want to produce good quality dogs for people. If it’s the traditional GSD or the Non-Standard colors that people are looking for I can guarantee a good healthy dog that will be able to function with any family
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include stock, plush, and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, black, isabella, bi-color, black and tan, black and red, blue, liver, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
