I'm Patricia W., the breeder behind Walkers Catuna Bassett Hounds located in Converse, LA. Our puppies come from 2 very relaxed, we'll tempered, laid back parents. They both have plush like fur, and absolutley love kids and the snacks that kids come with. We have on site Pinkey and Batman, Chloe older sister, Bowser and Jasper brothers from Pinkey's last litter, and Wednesday.

Why did you start breeding?
Our family never got into breeding on purpose. We got our dogs and fell in love. We never force our dogs to mate. We let fate take over and if they reproduced we just go with the flow.
What makes your program special?
We do not force our dogs to mate. We have them to love them, puppies are just a bonus to us. They are made with love and come pre loved ❤️
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and white, mahogany and white, and black white and brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Patricia

Patricia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Patricia partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We take great pride in ensuring we find the perfect family for our puppies. Their parents are our fsmily, so are the babies. We ensure all puppies come pre-loved, ensuring the happiest puppy at pick up. We do take our time in vetting potential buyers to ensure a quality home. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $100 refundable deposit and $1,150 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“We ask 1250 for full price. 200 deposit, rest due at pick up. If having to deliver a far distance, we will ask for extra delivery fees depending on the distance. We also can send information regarding a pet delivery service. Deposit is same for all male and female.”

Contract & health guarantee

Patricia may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Bowser
Bowser is a playful, loving and very active 2 year old Bassett hound. He is the son of our original breeding pair, Pinkey and Batman. He is Mahogany and White. He is our grand daughters dog a gift to her from her Grumps. She chose him when he was born to be hers. They live next door to us and he visits daily to play with his family and his girlfriend.

About Wednesday
Wednesday is a very sweet, quiet, laid-back Bassett hound. She is gentle and loves her daddy. She is Tri Color with lots of tick marks. She loves to ride in the Side by side. She is playful and loving. She was supposed to be the mate of Bowsers brother Jasper who we kept but alas she fell in love and bonded with Bowser. They hang out and play all day together.

Patricia was extremely helpful in getting Hunter delivered...she met us halfway, which really saved driving time (not to mention gas) and more importantly "wear and tear" on Hunter. I can tell by some of Hunter's reactions to things that she probably worked with all the puppies to be sure that they would easily integrate into their new homes. Good job! Patricia!

Patricia was very responsive. She answered every question I had about our puppy and how to properly care for him. You can tell her pups are loved and well taken care of.
