I'm Teresa S., the breeder behind Walnut Ridge Terriers located in Salem, IN. It has always been a family affair in our dog breeding program. Everyone chips in to help! Whether it’s cleaning, nurturing or just playing with the puppies to help properly socialize them. I have been raising airedales since about 1992 and the welsh terriers since 1994. We provide excellent care to our dogs, dogs are genetically tested so that we can provide you with the best quality dog that we can.

Why did you start breeding?
We fell in love with both breeds and started breeding them after researching and talking to other breeders and we knew we were ready to make the commitment. We have always done ethical breeding and placing or our dogs to see that they could have the best furever homes that we could.What makes your program special?
We are selective on the males we use. We want to produce the best puppy that we are capable of producing. Our puppies are socialized with children, other dogs and are exposed to a variety of sights and sounds.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Airedale Terrier puppies are black and tan. Welsh Terrier puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

"Price includes pup, microchip and prepaid reg on the chip, and akc paperwork. Also, includes 2 yr written health guarantee against genetic defects that would shorten the lifespan of the puppy. Various AKC perks. Also, unlimited support for the life of the puppy! Please call for pricing . Depends on the reason! Breeders accept deposits so that they know the puppies will have a great home to go to when they are old enough."

About Layla
Layla is a very gentle welshie, although, give her something to chase and she will be right there, she is very well socialized and also loves our grandchildren. Very gentle with her puppies and her humans as well. She has also been genetically tested and also tested PLL clear and has had her eyes also certified. She is also and AKC champion in confirmation. She gets along great with other dogs as well. Her puppies will come with their AKC registration and also microchip registration prepaid. Puppies will also be vet checked. Puppies will also come with sales tax prepaid, so no hidden charges.
