Meet the breeder

I'm Karen N., the breeder behind Waltz Creek German Shepherds located in Northampton County, PA. I offer top-quality German Shepherd puppies for families who share the same love and passion that I do for these lovely companions! My dogs are bred with a focus on conformation, structure, health, and temperament. They have the ability to excel in the show ring AND at home as beloved family companions and guardian dogs! Parents are OFA health tested for hips / elbows.

Q. & A. with Karen

  • Why did you start breeding?

I regularly participate in conformation shows, and I started breeding to not only continue my show line, but to better the breed overall and help set the standard for responsible breeding practices. It's an amazing feeling knowing that I made a positive contribution to these dogs and the families who love them!
  • What makes your program special?

I strive for quality and excellence with everything that I do. Holding myself to high standards is paramount to the well-being of my dogs and to the integrity of my program. As an avid member of the German Shepherd Dog Club of America, I am dedicated to maintaining and improving upon an excellent pedigree. I am very conscious about health, conformation, structure, genetics, and temperament, and every breeding decision is made accordingly. Once a litter is on the ground, I carefully hand-raise each puppy to ensure it is well-rounded and equipped to excel with its new family. I truly love my dogs, and I know you will, too!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
