Meet the breeder

I'm JO-LYNN H., the breeder behind Wardrum located in Cheyenne, WY. Our dogs excel both in and out of the show ring. They are excellent representations of the breed and have wonderful temperaments. We take great care planning each litter to ensure we are producing puppies that are exemplary representations of the breed. It is our passion to breed these incredible dogs and help ensure the future of the Lakeland Terrier.

Q. & A. with JO-LYNN

  • Why did you start breeding?

As a preservation breeder, I consider breeding the best Lakelands possible who are not only structurally and temperamentally sound, but who are also capable of performing the work for which they were bred. A well bred, beautiful Lakeland (or any purbred for that matter), is a sight to behold.
  • What makes your program special?

I raise my puppies using the Puppy Culture protocols. My puppy packets for new owners contain information on every facet of raising a new puppy. I will always take back any dog I have bred and/or assist in rehoming should family circumstance make this option necessary. Most all of my puppy owners have become lifelong friends. I offer support for the lifetime of the Lakeland they purchase from me.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
