About Soleil
Soliel is sweet, gentle and quiet. exhibiting the personality of a Great Pyrenees in a doodle body! She has a confident presence with a deep bark and eyes that make the UPS man question if he should get out of his truck lol. She has never caused a problem with visitors and we have many with an AIRBNB on our ranch. She is gentle with children and has been easy to train. She is golden, or apricot, with some white points and has the longest golden eyelashes framing her gorgeous dark brown eyes. She is DNA clear and OFA certified for hips and elbows and patellas.

About Sonny
Sonny is a calm, athletic and even-tempered gentleman. He barks to alert us of visitors, but he is a big lover! He doesn’t require tons of attention like our lab and he is gentle with our mamas at breeding time. He has a low prey drive and has been easy to train. We enjoy his calm and big-hearted temperament. He is DNA clear with Embark and OFA certified for hips, elbows and patellas.

About Roxie
Roxie is pure white with shorter hair and the most beautiful eye-lined brown eyes. She is alert and watchy, confident with herself and her abilities and welcoming to all visitors. Her bark keeps predators away as she diligently guards different species on the farm. She is excellent with children, visitors and dogs of all breeds that visit!

About Charlotte
Kind, thoughtful and happy describes Charlotte best! She sticks by your side, has a big bark, but is too friendly to be taken seriously on guarding against "people invaders". She is not a livestock guardian, either - just a happy happy girl! The first to greet you when you drive in the farm! She needs grooming mostly on her furnishings around her face. Her coat is loose curls and she does shed her top coat, but not her undercoat. She is DNA clear with Embark, OFA patella and hip certified. (Her mother, Roxie, was our first breeding female on our farm and is OFA hip/elbow "good". Her father was OFA hip/elbow "excellent"!)

Hello my name is Christopher and I just want to start by thanking Gretchen and her family for doing an amazing job with socializing my pyredoodle puppy. The care my pup received before coming home was A+ and I was very impressed with Gretchen’s professionalism and knowledge of the breed. I highly recommend this responsible breeder; her dogs are just stunning. I have had other breeds in the past including French Brittany Spaniels and English Setters. I have Yorkshire Terriers currently as well so I know what goes into finding a responsible breeder that cares about quality and the health of present/ future litters. I did my research for at least two years. I found there are so many scams going on out there; there are not a lot of breeders that are legit and breeding quality Pyredoodles or Bernedoodles. My Pyredoodle was socialized with Gretchen’s family on the farm with her children. This was especially evident since my pup has been home. Gretchen and her children also did lead training so my puppy arrived and was already very good walking on a leash. My pup was basically crate trained from day one. Thank you so much again for giving my family the best new addition we could have ever asked for. We feel so lucky we found you and love our Pyredoodle so much. She is the sweetest girl, loves children and other animals, so playful, and so chill. My extended family, friends, and even vet are obsessed with our new puppy and just think she is so beautiful. Thank you; thank you; thank you!

continuing .. The puppy learned to retrieve in about 10 minutes. It appears she's about 90% housebroken already. And she's only 8 and 1/2 weeks old. She obviously has had the first 8 weeks of her life in the best circumstances possible. The care Gretchen and her family gives her puppies is unmatched. This little puppy is self-confident, funny, joyful. What a gift!

Finding Gretchen through the constellation of reviews on Good Dog felt like tuning into a frequency few breeders transmit—genuine care amplified by professionalism. From the very first message, her authenticity stood out. In an industry where responses can feel transactional, Gretchen’s tone was warm, precise, and immediately trustworthy. The Selection Process Our connection with Krypto began entirely through screens, yet Gretchen bridged the distance between Washington and our home with remarkable intimacy. She sent regular photos, each accompanied not by sales language but by thoughtful observations. These early updates felt less like breeder notes and more like dispatches from someone who understood not only canine behavior but also the emotional anticipation of a family waiting to meet their new companion. Communication and Updates What elevated the experience from transaction to relationship was Gretchen’s rhythm of communication. Twice-weekly updates arrived like carefully written field notes: weights, vet check results, and nuanced personality observations. Text messages provided instant windows into Krypto’s growth. The photos documented more than appearance; they told the story of his becoming. Oversized paws, floppy ears in various stages of rebellion, expressions of curiosity and mischief—all captured with Gretchen’s gentle humor. A highlight was the video of Krypto’s first bath. It was not staged marketing but real life: water splashing everywhere, a bewildered puppy oscillating between indignation and wonder, and Gretchen’s unmistakable laugh in the background. That laugh conveyed what words cannot, this is devotion, not business. Mapping His Personality Beyond logistics, Gretchen provided a roadmap to Krypto’s unique personality. These insights did more than prepare us; they created continuity. When Krypto came home, it felt as if we already knew him. The Delivery Experience Gretchen arranged transport with the same care she gave to every update. Krypto did not arrive as cargo but as family. The handoff was seamless, a choreography of care that underscored Gretchen’s professionalism. Yet it was the personal touches that made all of the difference. Ongoing Support Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of working with Gretchen is that her support did not end at delivery. Our text thread remains active, a lifeline of advice and reassurance. This continuity is rare. Many breeders vanish once payment clears. Gretchen, by contrast, has remained a partner in Krypto’s growth. Defying Expectations Before adopting, I read countless stories of heartbreak around remote puppy purchases, missed updates, misrepresented dogs, breeders disappearing after sale. With Gretchen, those fears dissolved. Every interaction reinforced trust. The only surprises were pleasant ones. A Covenant of Care Gretchen does not simply breed Pyredoodles and Bernedoodles. She creates conditions for love to take root. Washington Bernedoodles & Pyredoodles operates as more than a business; it is a translation service, transforming canine potential into family reality through expertise, intuition, and rare devotion. To anyone scrolling through Good Dog, wondering if Gretchen is the right choice: she is. She is the keeper of a covenant between passion and professionalism, ensuring your future companion arrives not as product but as prophecy fulfilled. As I write this, Krypto snores beside me, paws twitching with dream adventures. Every twitch reminds me of the gift Gretchen gave us, not just a puppy, but the exact companion we needed, known to her before we knew him ourselves. In Gretchen, you will not just find a breeder. You will find a guide, a partner, and a friend in the journey of welcoming a new family member.

Gretchen and her family are absolutely amazing! I couldn’t be happier with my Maya! You can tell that her daughters doted on Maya because she lives and breathes for young ones! I’m very suspicious of scams, but the way Gretchen communicates, I felt at ease picking a dog on the internet. She responds quickly and will let you FaceTime with your pup! I can’t thank her enough for being honest as a seller and kind with the pups! ❤️

Gretchen was so wonderful to work with. I was lucky enough to meet her and her kids in person as we live about 40 minutes away. One thing I loved was that Gretchen never questioned us or our work schedules or ability to care for our new puppy like some breeders I had communicated with prior. We purchased our girl Lemmy about a week ago and it is very apparent Lemmy was cared for deeply before she got to us. She was mostly potty trained and kennel trained. She’s so loving and sweet and great with our kids! I have never felt so sound with a decision to buy a puppy from someone and we will absolutely be getting another one from Gretchen once we’re ready. Thank you Gretchen for giving us the greatest experience! We are sooooo thankful for Lemmy & for you & your family!

Gretchen was super responsive and friendly. Her bio and the puppies’ bios were full of information. It was very easy to reserve our puppy, and Gretchen arranged delivery to us. Our puppy came to us well-socialized, virtually house-trained, and immediately very loving. It was overall a fantastic experience.
