Meet the breeder

I'm Lisa T., the breeder behind Wayalife Labradors & Gsp’s located in Newton Grove, NC. We raise AKC registered labs that are genetically tested and have been OFA certified. We love & are proud of our dogs! We know the health & status of every dog we have bred and are proud of the temperament and conformation of our puppies. We love matching healthy, happy puppies with loving families!

Q. & A. with Lisa

  • Why did you start breeding?

I had a female Labrador Retriever when I met my now-husband and he had a male. We decided to make a commitment to breed as a way to better the breed and give back to the pups that we love so much! We want nothing more than to see each of our dogs and puppies shine.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are treated like members of our family. They are loved and handled daily. We do everything possible to make sure we are breeding great family dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our German Shorthaired Pointer puppies include liver roan, white and liver, and liver and white. Labrador Retriever puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Dilute Retriever puppies include silver, charcoal, fox red, and champagne. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in a kennel on my property.

I found Lisa on good dog and right from the start, i knew I found a great breeder. She responded to all my questions quickly and kept me up to date on my sweet puppy with pictures. Super easy to work with and because of her, I have my sweet yellow lab- Ozzir (pronounced Ozz-er) can’t thank Lisa enough!

We had a good feeling right from the start with our first video chat and when we arranged our pickup it was clearly evident that Lisa cared deeply for her dogs. We are extremely pleased that we added Bash to our family. His training is right on track and he is a real good friend to all of us.
