Meet the breeder

I'm Sandy L., the breeder behind Weimaraners of South Carolina located in Pelzer, SC. For nearly 20 years our family has raised Weimaraners that are truly part of our lives. Our first was a wedding gift from college friends. Raised on our farm with space to run and daily love, our goal is to raise healthy, well-cared-for Weimaraners for wonderful families.

Q. & A. with Sandy

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our first Weimaraner was a wedding gift from our college friends, and we quickly fell in love with the breed. A few years later we had our first litter. Today our Weims are part of our family, and our three kids help us raise the puppies. We love caring for them together and finding wonderful homes where they will be loved.
  • What makes your program special?

Our Weimaraners are raised as part of our family on our farm, where they have room to run, play, and grow in a healthy environment. Our whole family helps care for and socialize the puppies. We focus on raising healthy, well-tempered dogs and love connecting our puppies with families who will give them a lifetime of love and care.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include gray, blue, and silver gray. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
