Meet the breeder

I'm Lynne W., the breeder behind Weizen German Shepherds located in Hattiesburg, MS. Weizen German Shepherd puppies are outstanding companions and protectors. Our newborn puppies are stimulated (from 3 days to 16 days of age) using the U.S. Military's Early Neurological Stimulation Program. They are then socialized extensively on a daily basis before going to their new homes. The puppies are checked twice by a licensed veterinarian (at 3 days and 6 weeks of age). Required health tests are done on the sires and dams.

Q. & A. with Lynne

  • Why did you start breeding?

I received a male German Shepherd puppy for Christmas as a gift from one of my daughters. I loved the way he was around little children and the intelligence he always displayed. I bought a female German Shepherd and bred her to my male. I enjoy raising, socializing and placing my puppies with people I know will love them.
  • What makes your program special?

There are two things that make my breeding program special. I am very honest, and I dearly love my German Shepherds and their puppies. The people who buy my puppies often send pictures of them and updates periodically to let me know how they are doing. I offer lifetime support and enjoy helping my puppy parents when they need it.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include stock and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

I can not thank Lynne enough for my girl Everest. I was on the hunt for a good working shepherd and she did not miss the mark. She just turned 9 months old, I got her at 8 weeks and flew out to Lynne to get Everest. Wonderful experience, Lynne made sure I had all the paperwork, lineage, genetics, embark tests, AKC, etc. she has always responded immediately, we stay in contact with constant updates and will continue as she continues to accomplish great things. I wanted a dog to build lots of drive for multiple sports and Everest excels in everything I have tried with her so far including; scent work, psa/igp, rally, agility, advanced obedience, trick training, CGC, dock diving, and definitely more to come.
