Wendover Terriers

Five days ago we picked up our 12 wk old puppy from Wendover Kennel. We have had a very positive experience and are very happy with our puppy. Given that this is a very daunting endeavor these days, we were encouraged to come across Good Dog who works to vett potenial breeders and requires a high ethical threshold, providing a level of confidence that you are purchasing a healthy, well bred puppy, thereby elimimating as many health issues as possible. April has a Very high standard in her kennel and takes health precautions very seriously. In short, she is an ethical, honest, experienced and knowledgeable breeder. She is responsive, helpful and supportive. In the 5 days we have been home, our puppy has adjusted beautifully. She is sleeping thru the night with a clean kennel, know many commands such as come, outside, sit, fetch, bring it to me, drop, and is making great progress with housebreaking and heel. She is very smart, well tempered, sweet and healthy. We could not be happier and would highly recommend purchasing your jack russell from April @Wendover Kennel. We drove over from Phoenix and are very thankful we found this breeder thru Good Dog, who facilitated the purchase process so everything was seemless for both parties.

April raised her puppies so well, Harriet is such an excellent puppy the whole process was so smooth from start to finish, my daughter did a lot of research about our new family member to be. My late fur baby Oliver passed away in October, he was 14 years old, I brought him home when he was 9 weeks old. I do not want to ever forget about my Oliver or to replace him. Stricken will grief since he was gone my house is so quiet and empty especially when I come back home from outings and I open my front door to enter, no one there to greet me wagging tails uncontrollably to jumping up and down excited to welcome me home. I know this house needs the love of a dog. With my daughter doing a lot of research and reading all the reviews until we found Wendover Terrier! April was so helpful, responsive and a great communicator so, we checked out her puppies she sends me all the information of all the available puppies from a litter of Parson/ Jack Russell and we express the interest in Harriet she explained to us the procedure including information for flight nanny. April also sent us all the baby pictures of Harriet since she was born for us to have, it was so thoughtful. I set a delivery date that was good for Brittany a very lovely flight nanny to meet at a nearest major airport for me and Harriet came home with me! Harriet is such a joy…she has such a good temperament and personality so easy to train for crate and potty pad!!! I give two thumbs up to April for the exceptional care she gave to her puppies from day one and its reflected in Harriet and explains how she has a great disposition. We’re so very happy and falling in love with Harriet more and more each day. I highly recommend April at Wendover Terrier.
