Meet the breeder

I'm Sarah E., the breeder behind West Cobb Dogs located in Powder Springs, GA. Purebred AKC red Mini Poodles and Havanese. We also breed for Cavapoos and Havapoos focusing on a lovely temperament and excellent health. Our dogs live at home with us. Matching each family with the right puppy is our goal! We are honored to bring another member of the family into your life!

Q. & A. with Sarah

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our oldest daughter wanted a puppy more than anything when she was little. We told her to pray for one! Our hearts changed, and as we embraced this journey, we learned what a tremendous gift a GOOD DOG is. We wanted to share with others, and show other families what it’s like to have a GOOD DOG too! We love our mini poodles. They are excellent family dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

We love what we do- truly! Each of our children have trained and cared for their dog. It’s made our “little shadows” around here lovely and compliant, each knowing who they belong to, and they are loved and cared for- no “outdoor dogs” these are our beloved friends. They sleep with us at night, and are cared for beautifully. We always hear how lovely our puppies are!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Poodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies are blenheim. Cavapoo puppies include blenheim, red, and apricot. Havanese puppies include white and chocolate. Havapoo puppies include gold sable, red sable, white, and red. Poodle puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I absolutely 100% recommend West Cobb Dogs!! Sarah was super attentive and went above and beyond as a breeder. My husband and I were looking for a sweet puppy to start a little family. I am a first time dog owner so Sarah was very diligent in helping me figure out everything that he would need. A couple of weeks before we picked up our puppy, a member from my family had to give away their dog as a result of an allergic reaction. To keep the dog in our family, my husband and I agreed to take the dog. This other dog was also a puppy, but our hearts were still set on adopting Indiana (Sarah’s dog). We called Sarah to see if it would be okay if we could still adopt Indiana being that our situation had changed and to see if she could offer some insight in if this was a wise decision. Sarah very graciously set aside time to talk to us about all the pros and cons of the decision. In the end we decided to go through with the adoption and it was the best decision we made. Beauty (the family dog) and Indiana (Sarah’s dog) get along soooo well and cry when they are not together. He is the perfect puppy and loves everything and everyone. He is such a cuddle bug and has been the perfect addition to our little family. I can’t even begin to express how blessed we were to have found Sarah. She really cares about the quality of dog she offers and doesn’t stop caring about them even after they have left their home with her. I could keep going on about how amazing it was to work with her and how perfect our little Indiana is, but I’ll stop here so you don’t have to read a whole novel 😂
