I'm DinaMarie S., the breeder behind West Winds American Pit Bull Terriers located in Tenino, WA. West Winds APBTs is a small, family-run kennel in Tenino, WA. After 30+ years of breeding and showing APBTs, we returned in 2023 with Mia from Bartin Kennels. In one year, she earned 11 titles, 7 Total Dog awards, 2 BIMBS, 2 Group 1s, a Brick Award, and UKC National Specialty honors.

Why did you start breeding?
My breeding journey began after owning and showing a top-winning UKC dog, which set the high standard I follow today. Before producing a litter, I spent five years studying pedigrees, structure, health, temperament, and performance. That foundation of research and hands-on experience guides every breeding decision I make.What makes your program special?
At West Winds APBTs, we’re committed to quality and integrity. Every dog is fully health tested and titled in conformation, working, and performance events. We believe APBTs should be versatile, sound, and driven. If a dog can’t compete—and win—at the top level, it isn’t part of our breeding program.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include seal brown, red brindle, fawn sable, fawn brindle, fawn, brown brindle, brown, blue brindle, blue, blue fawn brindle, blue fawn, black brindle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“The price includes UKC Registration, 1st vaccination, de-worming and socialization. Deposits are non-refundable and puppies are sold in pick order and price is the same for all puppies unless specifically stated.”
