I started showing dogs in obedience and than started showing in breed ringWhat makes your program special?
At Westbound Kennels (and our home), we treat our puppies as individuals. Every pup has a different personality. We deal with personality, first. Each one is given a name, every dog is bathed and groomed, they all come into the house from the very beginning and are talked to and handledWhat are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Parent health testing

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
