I'm Deena W., the breeder behind Whispering Pines Doodles located in Jonesville, MI. We strive to place happy healthy puppies with wonderful loving families. We only breed health tested parents and strive to find the perfect match up for the perfect puppy. Our puppies and adults are all in our home as family members. My husband and I have been ethically breeding for 26 years. All of our puppies go through a carefully planned health and wellness curriculum starting from day one till they leave.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our breeding started for my love of the Standard Poodle. After much thought and conversations with breeders we purchased a Standard Poodle female 26 years ago and then 8 years ago we purchased our first mini Bernedoodle then the following year purchased a mini Goldendoodle. Once they were cleared with their genetic health testing the girls were then added to our program.

  • What makes your program special?

    We believe our breeding program is very special to us as we take great pride in our puppies that we raise here and the steps we take to make sure that are puppies are happy and healthy and that they go to wonderful loving homes. We care for our breeding females as part of our families and take excellent care of them.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include apricot and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Deena

Deena has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Deena partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We do take a waiting list and first people on that list get picks in order first. After careful consideration of the families wants and needs, we will recommend a certain puppy that may suit the family best but ultimately, we give our puppy buyers their choice of what is available.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $1,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes age-appropriate vaccines, de wormings, 1 year genetic health guarantee, microchipping, 30 health insurance, goodie bag and a puppy packet. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of sex or color. Deposit will be deducted from remaining balance.”

Contract & health guarantee

Deena may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), PRA, Golden Retriever 2, PRA, Golden Retriever 1

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Our little girl, Abby, has been with us just shy of 2 weeks. My husband and I are amazed at how well she adjusted from day one. Abby came home at 8 weeks, so we were ready for some puppy transition. We are crate training her at night and she took to her crate with little fussing and by the 3 rd night, no fuss. She goes out around 11:30 and sleeps until 5:30. She woke us up some nights around 2:00 and went out to pee, but not once did she mess her crate. Abby is already learning some basic manners- sit before food, sit or wait patiently to go out. We are working on some mouthing and over excitement when she needs a nap. But, that’s all normal for her age. Her first vet visit went flawlessly. I believe Deena’s early interactions and initial training made the difference. Deena showed real signs of love and care for her puppies and that created a puppy with the makings of a good dog! I would not hesitate to recommend Deena to anyone looking for a mini golden doodle.

    We just picked up Winnie a week ago and honestly could not be happier. She has settled in so well with our family, and her first vet check came back great. It is already clear she is going to be a perfect fit for us. Deena was so wonderful to work with from the start. She even recorded a video announcement for our kids so they could find out they were getting a puppy in the most special way. That meant so much to us. We also got a little gift bag with everything we needed to get started, which was such a thoughtful touch. When we went to pick Winnie up, we got to meet her mom too, which I really loved. You can just tell that Deena truly cares about where her puppies go and the kind of start they get. Winnie came to us healthy, happy, and loved. We are so grateful.
