I'm Lisa E., the breeder behind White Barn Wires located in Traverse City, MI. We live in beautiful Northern Michigan on 2.5 acres with our 3 dogs. Jonathan and I have been married just 3 years and we are living our best life. Breeding our Foxies is never going to be a full time thing, just wanting to add clear genetics to this gorgeous breed.

Wire Fox Terrier
About Hazel
Hazel is the epitome of a wire fox terrier. She is spunky, tenacious and ridiculously agile. A little more aloof as a puppy, did not like being woken up at all…but now she’s a cuddler. Smart, a serious ball dog, and patient with grooming and nail trimming. She is a wonderful girl!

Wire Fox Terrier
About Gus
My sweet boy, Gus has quite a calm temperament compared to most Wire fox terriers. He is extremely attached to me, follows me, sleeps with us….extremely loving, a little shy to loud sounds, but he is the nicest dog! He loves car rides and field trip trips to Home Depot. His unique looks only add to his entirely beautiful character.

Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
