I'm Mary A., the breeder behind White Eagle located in Ohio. Our goal is to ensure every dog from our program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role. We only breed litters occasionally to ensure each puppy receives plenty of attention and interaction. Each of our dogs are part of the family and receive lots of love.
Q. & A. with Mary
Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding Samoyeds when I was 8 years old with my parents. I apprenticed in professional handling and went to college. When I went out on my own I continued to breed Samoyed and added the Norfolk Terrier.
What makes your program special?
We have been breeding Samoyeds for 54 years since I was 8. My husband and I since we have been married for 29 years. We were nominated for breeder of year in 2020 by DogNews of one of three in United States. We have had three of our dogs win the SCA National Specialty winners. Three number one Samoyed in the country. Multiple Best in Show dogs and Best in Show Specialty all breeder owner handled. We also take pride in all our owners who get one of our dogs and come back to us for a second White Eagle pup.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
