Q. & A. with Ronda

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always been invested in the well-being of animals. I wanted to give back to the breed by producing healthy pups and placing them into loving homes. I understand the very important role that breeders undertake; today’s breeders are the guardians of the future German Shepherds.
  • What makes your program special?

I strive to breed healthy, quality pups that can fit any lifestyle. I truly love the German Shepherd breed and am dedicated to looking out for the breed as a whole. I know the health and status of every dog I have bred and am proud of the temperament and conformation of my puppies. I do everything I can to ensure my puppies have what they need to develop into healthy and happy dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include plush, long, and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and tan and black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

These wild flaken shepherds are not just the cutest but the most well-behaved dogs I have ever seen. When we first got our dog through Rondo, we were not expecting him to be so well-behaved. We figured it's how they were raised for the first couple of months of their lives that has brought him into a great sense of companionship. I would highly recommend anyone getting a dog through Rhonda and David Smith. Thank you guys so much for doing everything you have done for these animals. Best regards, Leo, Vanessa, Andre, and Frankie Watkins. You have given us the best gift this family could ever receive. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

My dream dog has always been a German shepherd, and after much research I decided Ronda was the breeder for me. She was quick to respond to my inquiries and helped choose the right pup to fit in with my family. She sent me updates and pictures throughout the couple of weeks and also helped me with transportation scheduling. The whole experience was a breeze and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to add a German shepherd to their home. My girl arrived as happy and healthy as could be, it’s easy to see she came from a loving and caring home. Thank you so much Ronda!
