I'm Diana S., the breeder behind WildeOak Aussies located in Mt. Pleasant, UT. Most of our dogs are bred as loving family pets but we also breed for conformation, personality, and health. All of our breeding dogs are tested for OFA hips and elbows, and any DNA that pertains to our breed. We want people to enjoy our dogs for many years.
Q. & A. with Diana
Why did you start breeding?
When I lost my first Aussie back in 1993, I was devastated. The breeder I got him from told me that I would be great at raising puppies because of the time I spent with my dogs and the love I had for them. I had already bought my husband a beautiful male when we got married in 1991 and the breeder provided me with two girls that I could start my breeding program with. I was hooked.
What makes your program special?
I breed for beauty, brains, personality, and conformation.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Jewlie, mom
Australian Shepherd
About Jewlie
Jewlie is more of a "one person" dog. She is friendly with other people but is glued to me. She wants to please and did well in the obedience class I took her to except that when she would go on a sit or down stay, she would do that beautifully, but as soon as I started to back up, she would go with me. When out in the yard she is always watching me. I think she would do really well in agility.
