I'm Julia S., the breeder behind Wildflower Bassets located in Covington, LA. Wildflower Bassets offers puppies with a focus on health, structure, and temperment. I believe quality is important. We are here to better our breed. It has been a dream of mine to breed Basset Hounds and connect responsible families with this outstanding breed. I have spent many years involved in Basset rescue and now in AKC conformation. Our hounds are raised holistically and we continue to study nutrition and have been blessed to be connected and learn from some of the most knowledgeable Basset people in the country.

Why did you start breeding?
I had my own Basset Hound and fell in love with the breed. I wanted to do my part as a responsible breeder and produce healthy, well-rounded pups. Prior to relocating to Arizona I participated in shows and have experience grooming these incredible dogs. I hope you would love to learn more about the Wildflower family.What makes your program special?
I do everything I can to ensure my puppies have what they need to develop into healthy and happy dogs. In my breeding program, good health and temperament are essential, and cuteness and love are guaranteed. I can honestly say, breeding Basseset Hounds has been a dream come true. I know this incredible breed will bring so much joy into your family's life.Where do your breeding dogs live?
