I'm Alisha E., the breeder behind Willow Creek Cresteds located in Aberdeen, ID. Our goal here at Willow Creek is to produce beautiful, high quality, very healthy Cresteds with amazing temperaments. To ensure we are not producing genetic conditions we health test all of our dogs. They first are DNA tested through Embark which tests for over 150 genetic conditions including many that are common in the Chinese Crested breed.

Why did you start breeding?
I grew up on a farm. My stepdad was a dairy farmer and my most fond memories are all those early mornings we woke up to bottle feed the little calves. It was incredible to me watching these calves be born and then bottle feeding them every day. This sparked a deep love for animals and caring for the young in me. I got my first purebred dog and a teen which was a huge stepping stone.What makes your program special?
My dogs are all health tested. I offer a lifetime guarantee on genetics and I also give a temperament guarantee. I stand behind my guarantee 100%. My dogs live inside our home with the family. I believe breeding dogs is a full-time job in order to raise the puppies right and care for the dogs every day. I am home with my puppies and dogs 90% of the time so they are all very well socialized.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Full Embark Panel, Primary Lens Luxation (PLL)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Alisha was super nice to deal with and we had several “conversations “ about my puppy. I feel she was honest and open with me. She delivered him to my door from Idaho to Oregon. Toast has an excellent, outgoing and confident temperament and it’s obvious the litter was well cared for. There was a small faux pas with the registration papers but she addressed it immediately no problem. I wouldn’t hesitate at all if you’re considering one of her puppies to buy. Great breeder.
