Why did you start breeding?
My husband Colin and I have been breeding dogs for more than 45 years. We spare no expense in raising our Greyhounds and visitors are always welcome. We are strong advocates of responsible breeding practices and responsible dog ownership. We are breeders of over 400 champions. We are proud of the many companions, 4H dogs, emotional support dogs, therapy and service dogs that we have produced.What makes your program special?
Our mission statement is to raise dogs that are healthy and long lived. We recognize and embrace the importance of health screening. Our breeding philosophy of breeding proven champion stock has resulted in a line of beautiful greyhounds that are healthy and long lived with a sweet gentle character. We offer a 7-year health guarantee and lifetime mentoring. We have happy Greyhounds and happy people who love them.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Kimberly
Kimberly has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

“We have an approval process. Contact us to learn about how to acquire a WINDROCK LLC greyhound. Our greyhounds are placed with lifetime mentoring, 7 year health guarantee, books, all vaccinations to age, a wonderful welcome home puppy kit, prepaid AKC registration and official pedigree, registered microchip. We will refund deposit if we fail to offer a puppy meeting the buyer's expectations.”

Jasmine is an AKC Champion that enjoyed a brief, but illustrious show career. She loves lure coursing and children. She has served as a "reading" dog at our local library and is our favorite dog to take to school demonstrations. She has had one beautiful litter before and this will be her second and last.

Parent health testing

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Acral Mutilation Syndrome (AMS), Animal Genetics Panel, Polyneuropathy, Greyhound Type (NDRG1), DNA Repository
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
