I'm Linda R., the breeder behind Windsong located in Menomonee Falls, WI. Our dogs are shown in AKC events to insure they meet the breed’s standards. Adult dogs are genetically tested and examined for common health issues. Lots of thought goes into selecting the right pair so that the pups have the best chance to be healthy, happy cresteds. Puppy training starts at day three and continues until they find their forever home.

Why did you start breeding?
After we purchase our first show prospect and he attained his championship we got hooked and wanted to become involved in promoting and continuing this beautiful breed.What makes your program special?
Our puppies are raised in a wonderful home environment with lots of socializing by toddlers to seniors. They also get to play with multiple other dog breeds and explore their environment.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include powderpuff and hairless coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, black white and tan, slate, sable, and apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Linda
Linda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Linda partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.

“The price includes AKC registration, AKC Reunite registration for microchip, age appropriate vaccinations and worming, and two year guarantee. Deposit is required when puppy and new home are matched.”

He quickly attained his AKC championship, continued competing and achieved multiple group placements, a reserve best in show and was the number one owner handled Chinese crested in 2025. Along with his good looks he is clear on current genetic tests and passed his health examinations. His temperament is wonderful—loves to play, please his people and snuggle.

Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Primary Lens Luxation (PLL), PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 3 (rcd3)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
