I'm Gina I., the breeder behind Wings of Freedom Retrievers and Malinois located in Boise, ID. We offer well-rounded, healthy, high-drive Labrador Retriever and Belgian Malinois puppies who will excel in any adventure with their new family! Our dogs are intelligent, loving, and athletic, and they produce puppies who will thrive in an active lifestyle. We're passionate about these dogs and are careful to breed and raise our pups with only the best policies.

Why did you start breeding?
We had family that bred Golden Retrievers and after helping them and finding my girl Shadow I knew I wanted to breed to hopefully start a hunting line that was also able to do service dog work.What makes your program special?
I believe in fully genetic testing both parents and ensuring their temperaments are solid. Puppies are raised in our home as part of our family until they find their forever home. I believe temperament and health are the most important factors when breeding.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Labrador Retriever puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Belgian Malinois puppies include fawn and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Gina has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Litter update on 06 Feb. •…Potty Training Starts Now! We get a lot of questions about potty training—so here’s the scoop! While we don’t fully potty train, we do start the process to make things easier for when your puppy comes home. Potty training is part learning where to go and part developing bladder control. We start by covering most of their pen with pee pads and keeping a consistent potty area. As they catch on, we introduce pine pellets or shavings over the pads, gradually transitioning them to just the pine. Every play area has a designated potty spot (except the big backyard), reinforcing good habits. By the time they leave us, they’ve learned that there are special places to go potty. But once home, they’ll still need guidance! Take them out when they wake up, after eating, after playing, and whenever they come out of the kennel. Watching for their “tells” and supervising them will make the process much smoother. We’re laying the foundation—now it’s your turn to finish the job!

Annahenhof, while her sire is a Serbian import out of Dolph and Malu de la Vallée de Luvry KNPV, giving her a strong working pedigree.

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

Once I found this puppy Gina was quick to respond to any questions and to provide me with all the information I needed. The puppy is a wonderful addition to our family and is settling in pretty good. Gina provided us with a care package to go home which contained the food the puppy was currently eating, a blanket from Mom and litter mates, some toys and lots of information to make bringing the little guy home easier.
