Meet the breeder

I'm yvette P., the breeder behind Wodan Kennels located in Raeford, NC. We are a small kennel that strives to produce dogs who have the capability to work in all sport venues and working confirmation. Our dogs are only bred after extensive health testing. We specialize in producing dogs who are healthy and have a strong working temperament. All of our puppies are raised in our home with ongoing temperament testing to ensure the right puppy for the right family! We look forward to connecting with you.

Q. & A. with yvette

  • Why did you start breeding?

I started to look for a smaller herding breed who could play sports and herd but still be a good family dog. After researching breeds we feel in love with the Mudi. Our goal is to produce dogs who were physically sound, easy to care for, and have a strong working drive with a good off switch. Breeding is our passion, not a hobby, and we are dedicated to finding the best dogs for our breeding program.
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies are raised in our home, and we strive to help each one grow up with confidence so they are ready to leave with their new families. They are provided with daily stimulation which includes playing on agility equipment, trips to local farms, and introduction to children of all ages. We also make a special effort to allow our puppies to meet and greet children and adults who have handicaps.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are brown merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
