I'm Rebecca W., the breeder behind Woofford Italian Greyhounds located in Southwest Florida, FL. 🐾 Woofford Italian Greyhounds is a small program focused on health, temperament, and breed standard. Our AKC parents are DNA tested and raised in our home with kids and other dogs. We use ENS and ESI techniques to support development and produce confident, well-socialized companions.

Why did you start breeding?
What started as a love for the breed quickly evolved into a calling. I immersed myself in learning everything I could about responsible breeding — from genetics and health testing to socialization and puppy development. I discovered that breeding is not just about producing puppies, but about preserving and improving an ancient breed for future generations.What makes your program special?
All of our parent dogs are fully DNA tested. We’re hands-on with every puppy from birth, focusing heavily on early socialization. Our puppies are raised around children, other dogs. We introduce them to crate and potty training. Our families consistently tell us how well-adjusted, social, and easy-to-train their puppies are.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white, black, red fawn, red, fawn, blue fawn, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
