Meet the breeder

I'm Nick P., the breeder behind WW Cavapoos located in Newport Beach, CA. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament. We focus on making puppies with exceptional temperaments. Our puppies are crate trained, potty trained, and have basic command training. We focus on early socialization and desensitization to ensure happy and well-adjusted pets.

Q. & A. with Nick

  • Why did you start breeding?

I bought my first two poodle girls from the breeder I previously did photography for. I started breeding my girls with that breeders studs. I've spent a lot of time with these studs and have gotten to know their personalities. Raising pups with amazing temperaments is top priority for my program!
  • What makes your program special?

All of the extra training we do with our puppies is what really sets our program apart. Whenever you get your puppy from us, they will be fully crate trained-sleeping through the night in their crate without potty accidents. They will be almost fully potty trained-most families report only a couple accidents in the beginning, some even report no accidents! They will also be started on basic commands- Sit, Wait, Look at me, Following A Food Lure, Touch, etc.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, white, tri-color, red, brown, black and tan, black and white, blenheim, chocolate, and apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), DNA Disease Panel

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
