Meet the breeder

I'm Taylor B., the breeder behind Wyohaus German Shepherds located in Rolling Hills, WY. Our goal is to produce dogs who meet the Breed Standard, are versatile, and healthy. Our dogs are raised in our home with us. We focus on excellent health, temperament, & conformation. All of our dogs have at a minimum- OFA/PennHIP and DNA testing. Our program focuses on genetic diversity and health without sacrificing temperament or working ability. We breed working lines with high drives and energy.

Q. & A. with Taylor

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up around puppies my entire life in my parent's sled dog kennel. I developed a keen interest in breed high quality dogs that are always an improvement on the generation before them. Each litter is bred with specific goals and intent. Breeding dogs who are healthy, temperamentally sound, and conformationally correct is my biggest passion.
  • What makes your program special?

My program is dedicated to producing structurally sound, well-balanced dogs with stable temperaments, genetic diversity, and proven health. I aim to improve with each generation by breeding only dogs that meet high standards in health, function, and breed integrity. Transparency is central to my approach to ensure you receive complete information about each dog’s health, temperament, and development.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include stock and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, black, black and red, black and tan, and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
