I'm Marilyn B., the breeder behind Yankee Doodle Dogs located in Hesperia, MI. We brought Freedom into our family as a puppy in July, 2023. He lived up to his name and loves the freedom he enjoys in our home and on our property. Liberty “Belle” joined us in 2024 and it was puppy love at first sight. The two are inseparable and play, rest, and “guard” the homestead.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    After raising our family and entering the season of grandparenting, we moved out of town to 45 acres to start this new chapter in our lives. We wanted animals and, since we’ve had experience with dogs all our lives, decided breeding Cavapoos would be the perfect fit.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are devoted to our two pet Cavapoos, Freedom and Liberty Belle, and their offspring. They are treated with the personal care of family beyond what a larger scale program could offer. They sleep in our bedroom, they sit on our laps during our morning coffee, they follow us everywhere. It's a dog's life!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include merle, white, red, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Marilyn

Marilyn has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Puppies will go home after being full weaned with a health certificate from the vet including their initial vaccine, deworming, and microchipping. We will give a discount for a second puppy. A deposit reserves your choice of puppy provided you can pick up your puppy at the agreed upon timeframe."

Marilyn may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
