



I'm Monica G., the breeder behind Yggdrasil Buhunds located in Fort Collins, CO. We breed athletic, intelligent, work-focused Norwegian Buhunds from fully health-tested and titled parents. All puppies are rigorously socialized from birth using Puppy Culture, ENS, and similar protocols to produce well-rounded and resilient puppies. Our parent dogs are family companions, hiking buddies and accomplished sports competitors.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

"Puppy price includes AKC registration, DNA and OFA CAER testing, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, veterinary health exam, personalized training program and pre-paid AKC STAR Puppy class. Deposits are due within 7 days of pregnancy confirmation (ultrasound)."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
