I'm Martin D., the breeder behind Z-Faro Kennels located in Willamsville, NY. Z-Faro Kennels produces pups that are from fully health-tested, champion bloodlines. We breed for the future with careful consideration of the past. Our Hounds compete and excel in both conformation and field/performance events. All dogs are thoroughly health tested before entering our program.
Q. & A. with Martin
Why did you start breeding?
Breeding is a natural progression from showing and competing. I strive to not only produce beautiful puppies and continue my phenomenal show line, but to set the standard for responsible breeding practices in order to ensure that the Pharaoh Hound will continue to healthily thrive for generations to come!
What makes your program special?
I am a premier breeder of Pharaoh Hounds. Each puppy is bred, raised, and loved indoors to ensure health, happiness, and harmony at the start of its life. All of my puppies are bred from champion lines with proven lineage, and I do not breed any dog unless it is thoroughly health-tested! While many of my dogs have made exceptional show dogs, all of them have become excellent family companions!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
