I'm Janet P., the breeder behind ZFG located in Jackson, MI. I strive to produce quality puppies for families that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive and have wonderful temperaments. As a breeder, I feel a sense of responsibility to prioritize the overall health and temperament of each of my puppies and to ensure that they are loved and well cared for prior to joining their forever homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My love for American Hairless Terriers inspired me to share this amazing breed with the world in a responsible way. It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others. It has been an absolute joy of a journey and I pride myself on helping all of my clients find the right fit for their needs and lifestyle.
  • What makes your program special?

    My dogs are bred to produce healthy, sound, and versatile pups. My ultimate goal is to produce athletic and well-structured canines that can excel within various performance venues and have the ability to be the greatest family companions. I can provide extensive knowledge and guidance for any family looking to bring home one of these wonderful dogs. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families. I work with passion, heart, and integrity, and I truly want what's best for the American Hairless Terrier line.

Puppy prices include between $1,800 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Animal Genetics Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
