Inspired by Clubs and their commitment to promoting canine health and providing education to the public, we established this program to support Clubs in their efforts to build a better world for our dogs.

At Good Dog, we have long been inspired by Clubs and the incredible work they do in promoting healthy dogs, their breeds and activities, and educating the public. We are in awe of all of the work that the Parent, Regional, Local, All-Breed, Performance and other clubs (the “Clubs”) do and their commitment to the preservation and protection of dogs, breeds, and canine health. We established this program to support Clubs in their efforts to build a better world for our dogs.
We are on a mission to use technology as a force for good – to unite, support, and empower the good forces in the dog world. And there are no greater forces of good in the dog world than your clubs. Your contributions are not just to the dog world, but to all of society...without you, we wouldn’t have the dogs and breeds we all know and love so much.
We are honored to have the privilege of providing clubs with Good Dog Grants to help support their efforts to build a better world for our dogs and the people who love them.
Thanks to the amazing feedback we received from our Good Breeder community (as always!), we are replacing the Club Partnership Program (for now!) with our Club Grant Program to allow us to prioritize disbursing funds to as many Clubs as possible and make sure they're receiving the support they need. But don’t worry... if your Club already applied to our Club Partnership Program, you’ve either already received a Good Dog Grant or you’re already in line in our application process for a Good Dog Grant and we will be contacting you soon with next steps!
We’re proud to offer Clubs a Good Dog Grant of up to $2,000.
Good Dog Grants may be partially need-based to ensure each Club at the national, regional and local levels receives any urgent or critical support. Good Dog Grants will be distributed in a tiered way, with larger amounts being reserved for national clubs, followed by regional clubs, followed by local clubs.
We really love to see Good Dog Grants used to support canine health, education, or Club (or breed) promotion, as these make up the core of Good Dog’s mission to build a better world for our dogs. We understand that Clubs have their own needs, and that you know your Club’s needs best, so ultimately however you’d like to use your Good Dog Grant is entirely up to you!
Clubs have used Good Dog Grants to support many incredible initiatives! For example, the Dandie Dinmont Terrier Club of America is using their Good Dog Grant to combat eye disease in their breed by giving breeders and owners money-back vouchers to be used on eye testing. Learn about more of our incredible Good Dog Grant Recipients, and their amazing initiatives here.
We can’t wait to hear about how we can help support your Club’s efforts!
Clubs that are selected as a Good Dog Grant Recipient will also receive an exclusive badge to display on their Club’s website in recognition of their extraordinary work. We would be thrilled if you would display the badge on your Club’s website, and we are of course always here to provide the help you need in getting the badge up on your website.
In addition to the Good Dog Grant, we’re thrilled to offer priority status and a streamlined application process to Club members who apply to join Good Dog. Your members will receive their own unique Good Dog link, and they’ll jump straight to the front of our waitlist!
We are so excited to help give your Club the recognition and support it deserves! If you or your Club is interested in applying to receive a Good Dog Grant, please fill out this Club Grant Interest Form. Filling out this Form is the first step in us getting the conversation started with your Club, and learning more about how we can support you. If your Club is selected as a potential Good Dog Grant Recipient, we’ll be reaching out to you with next steps!
If you have any questions, please email Nicole Engelman, Breeder Community Lead, at nicole@gooddog.com
Please share information about Good Dog’s Club Grant Program with your national, regional, and local Clubs, and fellow breeders, so we can provide as much support to the good forces in the dog world as possible. We hope you and your Clubs will join us, because we are so much stronger together… together, we CAN change the dog world.
If you’re not yet a Good Breeder, but are interested in learning more about our Club Grant Program or about joining us in our mission, we invite you to email Cat, our Head of Partnerships, Community & Legal Affairs at cat@gooddog.com – she’d love to hear from you! :)
