International Breeder Policy

Can I be an official Good Dog Breeder if I am located internationally?

At this time only breeders located in the United States can become Good Breeders. However, Good Dog recognizes the efforts of responsible breeders everywhere, and we’re excited to be a place that supports dog breeders making a difference all over the world. 

Can I access any of Good Dog’s breeder resources as an international breeder?

Yes! Education is at the core of Good Dog’s mission. We believe that educating the public and supporting continuing education for breeders is the only way we will build a better world for our dogs together. That’s why international breeders have access to many Good Dog resources.

• Our Health Resources, which include articles about canine health and science as well as helpful infographics that you can also share with your puppy buyers.
• Our weekly podcast, The Good Dog Pod, which provides breeders with information about canine health and veterinary care, animal legislation and legal advocacy, canine training and behavior science, and dog breeding practices.
• Our Good Breeder Center where you can access our Good Breeder Webinars with leading world-renowned canine health experts, including Dr. Gayle Watkins, PhD and Dr. Chris Zink, DVM (please note that a few select webinars are currently only available to breeders in the United States who have live profiles with Good Dog).
• Our Learning Center, which provides valuable resources for potential dog owners that can be shared and linked, including articles on whether you should get a dog and what actually goes into the cost of a puppy from a reputable breeder.
• Facebook and Instagram: International breeders can stay up to date with our community by following us on social media - our Good Breeder Center facebook page and @goodbreedercenter on instagram.

How will I know when Good Dog expands to my country?

The best way to know when Good Dog expands internationally is to sign up to join our community. Upon signing up, you will receive an email letting you know the resources you can access as an international breeder and confirming that we will reach out to you when we expand into your country.
