In This Module

Intro

Transformational Dog Breeding will get you started designing your strategy so your breeding program achieves your goals and dreams, whether that is producing pet dogs, raising service dogs, or saving a rare breed. This course will help you do it because it is built around the Transformational Dog Breeding System, which enables you to transform puppies into great dogs that enhance the lives of those around them.

In this course, you will discover the eight components of a dog-breeding strategy:

  1. Selecting Breeding Goals
  2. Selecting Breeding Stock
  3. Choosing Breeding Methods
  4. Raising Your Puppies
  5. Evaluating Puppies
  6. Selecting Homes
  7. Matching Pups to Homes
  8. Analyzing Results

 

Each module in this course covers one of the components so you can start making decisions about your strategy. Whether you’ve been breeding for 40 years or 1 year, going through your breeding strategy will be incredibly helpful because all of these pieces work in concert or they work against each other. Often, we don’t think about these larger issues in our rush to get clearances, ensure our bitch gets pregnant, whelp puppies, and get them into homes. Yet, it’s these larger issues that will make or break not only our success but also our ability to withstand the challenges of breeding dogs.

So, welcome to this exciting adventure, a new way to think about your breeding program. Whether you are just starting out or have been breeding for years, taking some time to consider each part of breeding will only help you reach your dreams and goals!
