That’s why every payment you receive through Good Dog is protected by The Good Dog Breeder Guarantee, which means if something goes wrong during or after accepting payments from puppy buyers on Good Dog, we’ll always have your back.

Our Security team utilizes best-in-class fraud detection technology to carefully review every payment being processed through Good Dog so we can stop scammers in their tracks, and more importantly, prevent them from ever getting one of your puppies. In the extremely rare and unlikely event that something does happen, we’ll always make sure you receive your payment, and work tirelessly to resolve the issue. 

No chargebacks 

Have you ever experienced a buyer claiming they didn’t get the pup they paid for, and then requesting a chargeback with their bank? That’s an unauthorized refund—a situation where funds are taken from your account without your consent. The Good Dog Breeder Guarantee ensures that a buyer is never able to pull money out of your account. Once a payment hits your account, it’s there to stay, guaranteeing your hard-earned money stays secure.

Every payment made to you on Good Dog is instantly verified and guaranteed by us. As soon as your buyer completes their payment and you receive their receipt, you’re guaranteed every dollar you’re owed.

The Good Dog Breeder Guarantee is complete payment protection for Good Dog Breeders. It includes protection from scams and fraudulent chargebacks, and provides breeders with protection and support on every payment they receive on Good Dog. 

How can I make sure my payments are always protected under The Good Dog Breeder Guarantee?

Every payment you receive on Good Dog is protected under The Good Dog Breeder Guarantee. Our On-Platform Payment Policy requires that all deposit and dog payments from Good Dog buyers be made securely on Good Dog, but you’re also always welcome to use payment on Good Dog with any non-Good Dog buyers to enjoy the same protections. 

If a buyer requests a chargeback or files a dispute with their bank, how does The Good Dog Breeder Guarantee protect my program?

The Good Dog Breeder Guarantee allows us to protect you from unauthorized refunds. That means that while our team works tirelessly to resolve any chargebacks or disputes on your behalf, we also keep your money safe, and unlike large payment platforms, never allow buyers to pull money out of your Good Dog account. 

What isn’t covered by The Good Dog Breeder Guarantee?

Payments collected via any other mediums (e.g., Zelle, Venmo, Facebook Pay, PayPal, Cash App, etc.) violate our On-Platform Payment Policy, and are therefore not eligible to receive the protection of The Good Dog Breeder Guarantee. Good Dog’s Breeder Protection Policy also only applies to what was agreed to between a Good Breeder and a Good Dog buyer and does not extend beyond the explicit terms of that agreement.
