Payments for non-Good Dog buyers

To accept payment on Good Dog from non-Good Dog buyers, just share your unique payment link or your other referral links which they can use to securely submit payment to your program.

Non-Good Dog buyers can pay with zero fees OR choose to complete their payments through Good Dog with Protection & Support.

Buyers who choose to add Protection & Support receive:

🐾 payment protection,

🐾 and exclusive discounts on puppy essentials from Chewy, Rover, Barkbox, and more.


How do I share my payment link?

To share your payment link with buyers from a desktop, follow the steps below:

  1. From your Good Dog Dashboard, click on Referral Links
    ​​​​​
  2. Click Copy payment link to add your payment link to your device's clipboard

    ​​​​​​NOTE: Once saved to your clipboard, you'll be able paste your link wherever you'd like to share it.

To share your payment and other referral links with buyers from the Good Dog Breeder App, follow the steps below:



  1. Tap Payments at the bottom of the screen
    ​​​​​
  2. Tap Start in-person payment, where you will have two options to direct your buyer to make payment:

    🐾 ​​​​​​Scan the QR code. Buyers can scan your QR Code by opening the camera app on their device.

    ​​​​​    🐾 ​Tap Share. Breeders can send buyers their payment link through options like text messages, AirDrop, email, and more!

Don't forget...
You can also download your Good Dog payment badge to display on your personal website, which allow non- Good Dog buyers to easily make payments to your program through Good Dog

To download and add your Good Dog payment badge to your website, follow the steps below:


  1. From your Good Dog Dashboard, click on your Program Name/Profile Photo in the bottom-left corner of the screen
    ​​​​​
  2. From the pop-up menu, click Downloads 
    ​​​​​​
  3. Click Download next to your Good Dog payment badge
    ​​​​​
  4. Upload the badge to your website and hyperlink to your pay.gooddog.com link.
