Sample Contract: Co-Ownerships

Access our sample Co-Ownership contract, available exclusively to Good Dog Breeders.

A co-ownership agreement allows two or more people to share ownership of a dog. These contracts are used for a variety of purposes and each co-ownership agreement is unique. While there are benefits to co-ownership agreements, many organizations and clubs do not encourage their members to engage in these agreements due to the legal issues and ownership disputes that typically arise. Read more about the pros and cons of entering into a co-ownership arrangement.

You can download this sample contract with annotations from our legal team to help you tailor it to fit the needs of your breeding program.
