I'm Gerald & Maggie H., the breeder behind 10 Acre Danes LLC located in Blanchard, OK. We love this breed and the experience of having litters! Our mission is to raise pups that are set to become the best companions. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We got our first Dane about 10 years ago. What got us into breeding was the love of the breed and we wanted to be part of someone else’s discovery and the continuation of this great breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    What makes our program special is that even though we are breeders our dogs are still our pets and part of our family. They don’t live in kennels, they live on our couches and beds. We treat our pups the same, they are part of our family until they are part of yours.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include fawn, blue, harlequin, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Gerald & Maggie

Gerald & Maggie has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $550 - $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Our prices vary on color, male, female, full AKC or limited AKC. Deposits are to hold a pup until pickup."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     I have been looking to get another Great Dane after losing ours a couple of months ago. I researched and read the reviews of Breeders and trying to figure out how I was going to get the puppy to where I live. It was kind of hard not meeting the puppy before getting it. I decided to go with Herald and Maggie. They arranged the pet transportation and it was fast. The service they used was wonderful. The guy kept us informed of his trip to bring our puppy to us and how things were going. When I opened up the pet carrier and reached in to get her it was love at first sight!!! She is such a beautiful puppy that is very healthy and intelligent!!! She is almost completely house broke and wants to be apart of your life! She came knowing also how to play fetch and gets along with other dogs so well. You can tell that Herald and Maggie spent a lot of time with her. She is a blessing to us. I would 100% get another Great Dane from them and would recommend them to whoever wanted to get a Great Dane. I am a person that does a lot of research and also very meticulous. Thank you Herald and Maggie for such a wonderful addition to our family.

    Gerald and Maggie were great to work with on getting our puppy Hoss. They answered all of our questions even sent us a video of our Hoss. They coordinated the pick up great and even gave us a puppy kit which was very thoughtful and much appreciated.
