I'm Jessi R., the breeder behind 10 Piece Golden Nugget Retrievers located in Bridgeville, PA. We are a family of golden retrievers that are raised in our home along side our family. We raise the puppies in our living room, socializing them with their family (great grandma, grandfather, aunts, and cousins). Our puppies are from OFA health tested, CHIC certified parents.
Q. & A. with Jessi
Why did you start breeding?
We had a beautiful red AKC female that we adopted and a conventional AKC champion bloodline male that we adopted through a rehoming when he was 2. We loved the males big blocky head and our females red color. We wanted to add another golden to our family, and my husband worked for an animal clinic previously, so we bred our first litter and kept 2 dogs from that litter.
What makes your program special?
While we health test and breed with a breeder that does hunting titles, we focus on breeding quality family pets. We raise them in our homes along side of our 7 goldens, exposing them to common household sounds and socializing them from a young age. We are special because we consider any of our owners a part of our golden family! We love getting updates and staying in touch with the families.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are dark golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Ember
Ember is a 3rd generation from our breeding program. We own her father, Camo, and bred him with Ellie from KNK Red Golden Retrievers. She is a beautiful dark red with silky hair and doesn't shed quite as much as the our other goldens. She is very loyal and loving, and has been the best mama to her litter.
