Meet the breeder

I'm Amy D., the breeder behind 10-Acre Woods Cockapoos located in Bristow, OK. Located on 10 acres south of Bristow, OK, we're dedicated to providing happy, healthy, well-socialized pups. With a focus on quality care, responsible breeding practices, and ongoing support for new pet owners, we're here to help you find your perfect family addition!

Q. & A. with Amy

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our journey began when we first fell in love with a charming cockapoo named Frank Sinatra on Instagram. Inspired by his adorable personality, we set out to find a cockapoo for our family- but when we couldn't find one that felt like the right fit, we decided to raise our own.
  • What makes your program special?

Our mama dogs are members of our family, and we raise their puppies right in our home, where they receive daily love, attention, and socialization. As our program continues to grow, we're excited to introduce our first guardian homes this year and look forward to seeing how this new chapter unfolds.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Cockapoo puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Cockapoo puppies include brown and tan, cream, red, buff, and red and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience! Amy was incredibly responsive every step of the way, from helping us choose the perfect pups to guiding us through the best ways to fly with two babies. We brought home not just one, but two of her wonderful pups—Rainer (now Maeby) and Appalachian (now Linus)—and both are settling beautifully into their new homes. Even on the very first night, they slept through the night in their kennel! Amy’s care and support made the entire process smooth and stress-free. We’re so grateful to have these sweet pups in our lives!
