I'm Jill N., the breeder behind 5 Cent Canine Co. located in Henderson, TX. 5¢ Canine Co. is a family-owned producer of Poodles and Bordoodles, combining the world's top two most intelligent breeds. Our facilities are a part of the 5¢ Ranch. Our puppies are intelligent, task-oriented, and agile. 5¢ dogs are raised in an enriched environment that makes them easy to train and more emotionally stable. First and foremost, they are much-loved companions.

Why did you start breeding?
Our love of Border Collies, combined with allergies in half of our family, led us to the idea of a Bordoodle. Our brother and sister-in-law are breeders and were an invaluable resource. We dove into breeding head first, completing courses and researching extensively before we ever began. We work to provide top-quality companions that are easy to train, athletic, loyal and affectionate.What makes your program special?
5¢ puppies come from purebred registered ancestry - AKC Poodles and ABCA Border Collies. Sires and dams are family-owned and DNA tested. We work tirelessly to provide protection, socialization, and enrichment. We partner with our trainer and our veterinarian to produce the best outcome. We keep our breeding program small to allow the most personalized experience possible for our owners.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Bordoodle puppies include mini and standard sizes. Poodle puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Getting a puppy from Jill
Jill has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,700 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The remaining balance is due before delivery or at the time of pick up. We accept Venmo and PayPal. The deposit is required to reserve a specified puppy. It is non-refundable, but transferrable to another puppy or upcoming litter. Deposits on a waitlist hold specified male/female in order received.”
Contract & health guarantee
Jill may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
