Meet the breeder

I'm Alice W., the breeder behind 888 Frenchies located in Bellevue, WA. Our puppies are super healthy, gorgeous, &wonderful temperament puppies. We bring over 20 years of raw and holistic approaches to raising dogs to the French Bulldogs & Labrador world. Our other committment is teaching the puppies from Day 1 of their lives to get them prepared to live with humans.

Q. & A. with Alice

  • Why did you start breeding?

We have been breeding Labradors since 1990 and French Bulldogs since 2011. We are a small hobby kennel. This has helped form my goals in breeding: improve the breed in health, demeanor, and looks. I begin by choosing the best-looking dogs with excellent temperaments and then check their health clearances for hips, elbows, eyes, and heart.
  • What makes your program special?

We believe in super health and training our puppies and dogs. To that end, all puppies and dogs are raised on the "BARF" diet and they are trained from the moment their sharp little teeth come in. They know "no-bite" for no nibbling on us, "off" for no jumping and they are trained to use the litter box which makes the transition to your home a cinch.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our French Bulldog puppies include cream and fawn. Labrador Retriever puppies include black and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
