I'm Kelly D., the breeder behind A Breed Apart Papillons located in Londonderry, NH. We have AKC Papillons from Champion bloodlines. All puppies are sold with health certificates, health guarantees, up-to-date vaccines, and spay/neuter contracts.

Why did you start breeding?
I was born into a family where my Grandma and Aunt showed and raised Poodles. I always knew someday I’d find my own breed that I adored and had a great passion for. When my daughter was about 2 she started asking me for a dog, a “widdle one” . I spoke to my vet who suggested a Papillon and the research began. I bought our first Papillons for her 9th birthday and 25 years later I am still raising them.What makes your program special?
My love, care and knowledge of the breed is special. I do my absolute best to produce the healthiest, happiest puppies I can. From providing incredible nutrition and care to my adults to following a neurological stimulation program to help my pups turn into the best puppies they can. Pups are born next to my bed and spend quiet time bonding with their mom, once their eyes open the real fun begins!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and sable and white black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Kelly
Kelly has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kelly partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price
“Currently accepting reservation deposits towards future puppies. We ask for a $500 nonrefundable deposit to reserve a puppy. Deposit goes towards final cost of the puppy you choose. Deposits can be moved to different future litter for up to 1 year if you don’t find the right puppy or if life timing isn’t right when your puppy is born. Deposit is applied to final cost of the puppy you choose. I accept personal check (initial deposit only), or Good Dog (although they charge buyer a service and protection fee).”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Polly and Parker are both a gorgeous representative of the Papillon breed. Polly is gentle,calm and loving. One of the best Mom’s I’ve had in almost 30 years of breeding. Both parents are AKC registered and fully genetically tested and clear, including OFA normal heart and knees. Puppies are raised in our home with lots of socialization and love. Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Brucellosis, Canine Good Citizen (CGC)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Profile, GenSol Diagnostics DNA Testing, Full Embark Panel, PRA (PRA1), Papillon Type, Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (NAD), Papillon Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
