I'm Elli F., the breeder behind A + E Farms located in Kamas, UT. We’re a small, intentional Bernedoodle breeder raising puppies in our home with help from our 3 sweet boys!   • Why did you start breeding?

    When my husband, Austin, and I got married, one of the first things we did was bring home our dog, Luna, a sweet, smart Bernedoodle who became the heart of our family. She’s gentle with our kids, always up for an adventure, & a breeze to train. We started breeding because we believe every family deserves a dog like Luna, a loyal, loving companion that fits right into the chaos & joy of life.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our goal is to help your family find the right puppy, not just the cutest one. We temperament test each of our puppies so when it’s time to choose, you’ll know which pups are more laid back or energetic, confident or timid. Whether you’re looking for a playful hiking buddy or a calm cuddle companion, you’ll feel confident bringing home a puppy that fits your lifestyle and family perfectly.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Bernedoodle puppies are tri-color. Bernese Mountain Dog puppies are black rust and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

    If you are seeking a smart, loyal, lovable, floppy, goofball of a pup, you've come to the right place! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about A and E Farms! After a lot of researching and searching for the right breeders we chose to purchase a standard sized Bernedoodle to be my service dog. The A and E Farms puppies stood above all the rest that we had looked at. Elli was absolutely wonderful to work with. Even though they temperament test their puppies, she was totally cool with letting us bring another dog trainer that specializes in service dogs to come in and temperament test a couple of the puppies. We chose our beautiful boy, Eros. I have worked with multiple dogs before, but I was instantly amazed at how smart and quick to catch on Eros was. He is well socialized, kennel trained and we have had only a few potty accidents in the month since we brought him home. Elli has always answered any questions I've had regarding the Bernedoodle breed, nutrition, grooming, etc. She is so sweet and well versed in all things Bernedoodle. It is so evident to everyone that meets Eros and has heard about our experience that A and E Farms genuinely cares about every single puppy they raise. They pour their heart and soul into every pup and care about what becomes of them.
