I'm Aliyah & Ryan C., the breeder behind A & R Springers located in Braidwood, IL. We strive to place each puppy in an enriching and loving home. Our commitment is to provide you with a professional and friendly puppy-buying experience; and that includes always having responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    A & R Springers is built upon a foundation of love, admiration, and respect for the Springer Spaniel breed. Our dogs have brought us so much joy and happiness that we wanted to give back to the breed by producing the highest quality dogs that we can and provide them a wonderful life with wonderful families.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are dedicated, responsible breeders of Springer Spaniels and are passionate about our program. Our dogs are part of our family first and foremost, and we ensure they are well-equipped to excel in their lives with their new forever families. Our priority is quality over quantity, and we are very conscious about who we rehome our puppies to, always ensuring that each one goes to the best, most loving home possible complementary to its personality and ability.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include white and liver, white and black, liver white and tan, liver and white, black white and tan, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Aliyah & Ryan

Aliyah & Ryan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Aliyah & Ryan partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Once we receive an application, we review it and proceed from there. We may ask for additional information, and reserve the right to approve or deny any application.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $1,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“All puppies are $1200, unless you would like Full registration. Puppies with Full registration are $1400. Selling with full registration is at the sellers discretion and may be with held at any point in time. Deposits are collected at time of puppy pick. All deposits are nonrefundable unless otherwise previously discussed with breeder. DO NOT SEND DEPOSIT PRIOR TO OUR REQUEST!”

Contract & health guarantee

Aliyah & Ryan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Aliyah & Ryan offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Aliyah & Ryan directly.

    I can't speak highly enough of Aliyah both with the way she conducts business as well as the quality of her dogs. From the time the pregnancy was confirmed, Aliyah kept us in the loop on labor, delivery, and weekly growth updates. We were able to watch our puppy grow and see him develop his personality through her weekly facebook live videos. We found out we were pregnant shortly after our puppy was born and it helped us so much to know what our puppy was going to be like when we picked him up and what to expect. His temperament really is perfect with a baby in the house. It's like it was meant to be! I especially loved that she was able to expose our puppy to grooming (baths, ear cleaning, nail trims) at a young age so he would be comfortable with these things as he grew. The pick up process was so smooth and thoughtful. You have a scheduled pick up time that allows for one on one time with your pup and their momma, making the transition as stress free as possible. All of the extra goodies that came with him was an added bonus! All in all, it's clear how much Aliyah cares about her dogs and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a Springer. She will be our breeder when we are ready for another pup!

    We waited three years after losing our Springer spaniel , before deciding to get another dog . I am so lucky I found A and R Springers Aliyah definitely knows each of her dogs and puppies and their personalities. She definitely put the work into helping make each of these pups easy to handle and train , Would highly recommend A and R Springers . After three years of not having a dog having Brandy now makes us wonder why we waited for so long . Thanks to A and R Springers for being such caring breeders . Such a pleasant experience.

    Aliyah provided such an amazing experience the entire duration of adopting our pup. She did weekly live videos which really made us feel like we were there to watch the pups grow. She’s extremely communicative during the entire process and you can definitely see the love she has for her dogs and their pups. Even when sending Ducky home with us she included so many goodies and so much useful info. We went home with a folder full of vet paperwork and AKC registration instructions. Ducky has become such a light in our lives and we can’t thank A&R Springers enough for him!!! I would recommended them 100 times over!

    Aliyah and Ryan are simply the best! From start to finish, they make the process of getting a new furry addition so easy! During the first 8 weeks, they take great care in adapting a puppy to life in a home by desensitizing (nail trim, bath, noise, even kennel training), potty training (this was such a breeze!), and so much more! Our Huk knew his name the moment he came home because Aliyah started to use it the moment his ears opened! This made further training so easy! They provide weekly updates, but beyond that they provide updates when the pups hit big milestones like their first puppy mush, bath time, etc. This gives you a feeling of being involved right from week 1! It’s heart warming to know they have so much interaction in the first weeks of life to set them up for success! We definitely can see a difference in puppies who receive this kind of care vs. your typical breeding program! When we picked up Huk, we were greeted with such a great care package that set us up for ultimate success. Beyond the pick up, Aliyah, Ryan, and I hold such a special relationship as they truly care about their puppies even after they go home. Without even living in the same state, they are the first people I go to if I have a problem even after 3 years and they are always willing to provide answers! They also raise such quality family and hunting dogs! We get so many compliments on how handsome our dog is, but also how well-mannered he is! For not having kids in our house, Huk immediately knows how to act around them and is a gentle soul. It’s heartwarming to see how he could be a ball of energy, but the moment a child is in his presence he can flip a switch. Huk also LOVES anything water! From dock diving to swimming to hunting, this boy is an otter! We absolutely love our boy Huk! He is our absolute whole world! He has the biggest personality which our family didn’t know we were missing before he came into our lives! He is one in a million and I definitely would get more pups from A&R Springers when the time has come to add another addition to our family!
