I'm Lisa F., the breeder behind Above The Salt Danes located in Naples, FL. We offer exceptional quality puppies for a variety of homes including pet, breeding, and service homes. Our dogs are our pride! Our dogs are bred with health and temperament at the forefront. We take great care to ensure that each of our puppies is prepared to excel in their new homes! Puppies are sold uncropped however, I have multiple crop vets I can provide information if you desire to get your pup cropped.

All of our breeding stock & outside studs are fully OFA tested with Chic #s. We breed for health & temperament to provide owners with a stable, smart & structurally sound puppy for many years to come. 2 of our breeding stock work as Service Dogs & several of their Sires & Dams have produced Service Dogs over the years.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include silver, white, black and white, mantle merle, blue brindle, blue and white, brindle, fawn, blue, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Litter update on 30 June •…Indy is still looking for her person/family. Housebreaking is going really well as is leash training & riding in the truck with me. She is smart like her mama & picks up things very quickly. She’s also such a clown & makes me laugh several times a day with her antics. Her ears healed well & I started posting her yesterday. She is a very special pup & I have been selective & know the best home is not there waiting for her. As a service dog trainer of 14 years she is absolutely service dog material with the right training I believe she would excel just like both her mom & dad.

Litter update on 28 May •Pups were 7 weeks old yesterday. Potty box training & pottying outside has been a super easy transition. Weights are between 17.5 - 21.5 so they’re big puppies. I would love for these 4 pups to go home in next week or 2 so there is some wiggle room on price.

About Rodeo
Rodeo is a 4 year old brindlequin. He is the happiest dog on the planet & loves everyone. He has an easy going way about him & works as my personal Service Dog. When his vest is on he is in work mode & he pays close attention to my needs. When he is off duty he is the life of the party & wants to say hello to everyone. He has one of the best temperaments I’ve ever seen in a dog & I’ve been training dogs over 40 years. He’s smart, stable, intuitive, goofy at times & the best cuddler.

Veruca Salt is a 4 year old chocolate brindle point. She is smart as a whip learns quickly & never forgets. Despite her “look” she is very sweet & playful with a great temperament & extremely intuitive dog. She works as my personal Service Dog & knows way before I do when I will need her assistance.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
