I'm Lisa F., the breeder behind Above The Salt Danes located in Naples, FL. We offer exceptional quality puppies for a variety of homes including pet, breeding, and service homes. Our dogs are our pride! Our dogs are bred with health and temperament at the forefront. We take great care to ensure that each of our puppies is prepared to excel in their new homes! Puppies are sold uncropped however, I have multiple crop vets I can provide information if you desire to get your pup cropped.

What makes your program special?
All of our breeding stock & outside studs are fully OFA tested with Chic #s. We breed for health & temperament to provide owners with a stable, smart & structurally sound puppy for many years to come. 2 of our breeding stock work as Service Dogs & several of their Sires & Dams have produced Service Dogs over the years.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include silver, white, black and white, mantle merle, chocolate brindle, chocolate and white, chocolate, blue brindle, blue and white, brindle, fawn, blue, harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
