Meet the breeder

I'm Amanda R., the breeder behind A&D Frenchies located in Hemlock, MI. We health test all of our puppies, as well as our Dams and Sires. Not all puppies will be available for full AKC registration, as we are very picky about where our puppies go and which are breeding quality. We care deeply about each of our dogs and pups and strive to place them in the perfect homes.

Q. & A. with Amanda

  • Why did you start breeding?

Frenchies were always a breed that Dylan loved and Amanda couldn't help but fall too. (They are too loveable!) But looking for a quality dog in the area was a struggle. We want to work with other breeders in our area that prioritize the health of the breed to make some beautiful, healthy dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

We focus on breeding healthier French Bulldogs to minimize the respiratory and skeletal issues commonly found in the breed. Our passion motivates us to ensure that we are producing generations of high-quality puppies. We do not use kennels! Our dogs are raised in our home and underfoot. We also use guardian homes when we can, as our dogs will always be family members FIRST!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include brindle, cream, fawn, white, blue, blue fawn, fawn and white, tricolors, liver, black, black and white, brindle and white, fawn brindle and white, white and black, white and brindle, white and fawn, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Amanda was awesome throughout our interactions. Keeping me updated with the status of Nova prior to pick up and also answering any questions I had for her. She’s an awesome breeder and I would recommend getting a pup from A & D Frenchies!
