Meet the breeder

I'm Richard M., the breeder behind Adored Poodle & Doodles located in Tucson, AZ. Adored Poodles & Doodles is a family‑run program devoted to raising dogs with exceptional health, temperament, and overall well‑being. We thoughtfully incorporate Puppy Culture into every stage of our puppies’ early development, ensuring they receive the strongest possible start. When families choose one of our puppies, they can feel confident knowing their new companion comes with a remarkable foundation built on care, intention, and love.

Q. & A. with Richard

  • Why did you start breeding?

For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt a deep connection to animals, dogs especially. I’ve always been fascinated by the incredible diversity among breeds, each with its own distinct traits, instincts, and personalities that make them so beloved by their families. That uniqueness is what first inspired my dream of becoming a breeder. Over the years, that dream has grown into a commitment: to raise puppies who embody the very best of their breed, healthy, well‑balanced, and deeply loved from the start. Bringing joy to families by providing them with a cherished companion is one of the most meaningful parts of this work. I recognize that responsible breeding carries tremendous responsibility. That’s why I’m intentional and selective when choosing breeding pairs, always prioritizing health, temperament, and genetic soundness. I’m equally devoted to the daily care and well‑being of every dog and puppy in my program. Through thoughtful, ethical practices, I hope to make a positive contribution to the world of dog breeding and to bring happiness to families near and far by helping them welcome a wonderful new furry family member into their home.
  • What makes your program special?

The heart of our program is rooted in an unwavering commitment to the health, happiness, and overall well‑being of every dog in our care. We believe responsible breeding goes far beyond producing puppies that meet breed standards, it begins at birth with intentional nurturing, socialization, and thoughtful development. To uphold this philosophy, we carefully select breeding pairs that not only display desirable physical qualities but also possess the temperament and personality traits that make exceptional family companions. Our goal is to produce puppies who are not just beautiful, but emotionally balanced, confident, and deeply connected to people. From day one, each puppy receives individualized attention, early socialization, and foundational training designed to help them grow into well‑mannered, adaptable dogs. These early experiences support smoother transitions into new homes and help them thrive in a variety of environments. We remain fully committed to providing top‑tier veterinary care, proper nutrition, and ample exercise for all our dogs and their future generations. Through these high standards and intentional practices, we strive not only to create a truly exceptional breeding program but also to set a benchmark for excellence within the field.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Bernedoodle puppies include mini and medium sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include petite, miniature, and standard sizes. Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Bernedoodle puppies include brown, red, tri-color, and merle. Goldendoodle puppies include red, chocolate, and merle. Cavapoo puppies include merle, blenheim, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
