I'm Neva J., the breeder behind Afghan Hounds of High Kaliber located in Warrenton, VA. My dogs are proven champions in the ring and in the hearts of their forever families. My dogs are bred to produce healthy, sound, and versatile pups. My ultimate goal is to produce athletic and well-structured canines that can excel within various performance venues, as well as have the ability to be wonderful family companions.

Why did you start breeding?
I regularly participate in conformation shows and lure coursing events. I started breeding to continue and improve upon my prized Afghan Hound line. It is an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joy that I've found in raising these wonderful dogs.What makes your program special?
I am a Breeder/Owner/Handler of Afghan Hounds. I do not breed my dogs unless they are fully healthy and genetically tested. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Puppy prices include between $1,700 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

About Nike
Nike is a female Afghan Hound. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Neva decided to make her part of their program. Neva has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
