I'm Sarka V., the breeder behind Ajani's Danes located in Moores Hill, IN. We have outstanding Great Danes with wonderful temperaments that thrive in the ring and as our companions. Our goal is to produce puppies that can compete in a variety of venues, as well as be faithful friends to their loving families.

Why did you start breeding?
I am a "big dog" person and i absolutely fell in love with my first Dane. I noticed a difference in her appearance and behavior from other Danes i met before. I could tell the "well bred" dog is what every pet owner deserves and decided to make my mark in the breed for those that love Great Dane.What makes your program special?
I focus on functionality of the animal. Dog with a proper structure and sound mind will stay healthy and live long, happy life. I health test and only breed 100% healthy dogs, i research their pedigrees and look for quality animals with long lives. I evaluate their structure and pair dogs that compliment each other for the purpose of producing better offspring. I raise puppies with ENS and Puppy Culture protocols. I evaluate all puppies before i decide if ill breed the parents again.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include harlequin, mantle, merle, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

"My puppies come with limited AKC registration (full AKC registration is only available on show prospects), Prepaid lifetime AKC Reunite Microchip, 4 years health guarantee and veterinary vaccinations record booklet. I except deposit to hold your puppy after puppies are born and you know the puppy you want. If you are not able to comit to your puppy for serious reasons i understand and will return your deposit."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
